When you feel an anxiety attack coming on, ask yourself questions about why you are actually feeling anxious at that moment. “Am I in a safe place?” “Is there something I need to do?” “What am I worrying about?” “Is this a life or death situation?”

Panic attacks are mostly pointless but you need to convince yourself of that at the moment. Realize that it is just a temporary feeling and it will go away soon. Sometimes it is good just to laugh at the panic attack because you know it can’t kill you.

You always think the worst of every situation. So take your train of thinking and really stop thinking about the worst-case scenarios. A lot of the time the way you are thinking does not match with reality.
